Duties: Manage projects for corporate initiatives and strategic efforts, such as the Sales Initiation Suite to rewrite electronic applications and quoting to the web; the Commercial Lines to Customer Billing project; and New State Expansion. Analyze specifications and plan; design, develop, maintain, and document solutions for internal and external clients. Code, test, and debug mainframe COBOL and CICS programs for Commercial Lines Insurance.

2003–present Proofreader and editor, Isthmus Architecture, Inc., Madison, WI
Duties: Proofread typeset copy of Historical Structure Report for the State Capitol Building (Book 1: Historical Background) in preparation for the final printing; also provide feedback on content of chapters and organizational structure. Assist in project management, research and editing of the Historic Structure Report for the Unitarian Meeting House, by Frank Lloyd Wright.

2003–present Editor, Casey’s World Books, Goblin Fern Press, Madison, WI
Duties: Edit and proofread manuscripts for Casey’s World Books in all stages, including working with the author and illustrator, signing off on changes to the typeset copy, and guiding through publication.

1995–present Production Copy Editor, Saint Mary’s Press, Winona, MN
Duties: Copyedit, production edit and proofread educational materials for junior and senior high school students; prayer materials for a general audience; youth ministry materials; marketing catalogs; and a series of books in a special bilingual project for Hispanic youth and young adults. Also, train interns and others as assigned; and participate in the committee and project teams.

1991–1995 Administrative and Research Assistant to the Dean, School of Education Dean’s Office, University of Wisconsin-Madison
Duties: Assisted the Dean in the daily administrative operations of the Dean’s Office; edited manuscripts for seven books and numerous articles on multiculturalism, including accompanying the Dean to Beijing, China, to research ethnic minorities in China; organized special events, such as the travel of twenty-six Guatemalan children to Madison as part of a Biodiversity program; prepared correspondence and disseminated information to department chairs, unit directors, associate deans, and to the Provost and Chancellor.

1988–1991 Photographer, reader, and undergraduate advisor, Art History Department, University of Wisconsin-Madison. Caretaker, Jacobs I House, by Frank Lloyd Wright for the Madison Art Center. Editor, assisted Professor Narcisco Menocal in editing volume one of the journal Wright Studies on Taliesin, 1911 to 1914, published by Southern Illinois University Press in 1992.

1987–1988 Director and Curator, Thomas Waterman Wood Art Gallery and the Vermont College Arts Center, Montpelier, Vermont. Responsible for all administrative, curatorial, registrarial, fund-raising, public relations, and educational functions of the gallery and arts center.
